Interred is an entry in the 2024 Anti-Productivity Jam for interactive fiction written in tools not intended for the task ... and boy is this tool not intended for it!
Interred is written in the Emoticon esoteric programming language, where emoticons (the precursors to emoji) are the primary form of data. Playing Interred requires the use of an Emoticon interpreter — the game is supplied only as source code.

It's a bit annoying having to scroll up/down the page to read the last action done before entering the next command, but this was a really cool unusual parser!
That’s a good point. There’s no output mode for prepending anything sadly.
At least, not yet
Could the input be a block at the bottom of the transcript (like in-line) instead of hovering at the top of the page?
The whole page gets refreshed when you run a command, so I’m not sure about retaining scroll state.
Maybe someone should write a JS interpreter :D
That was really interesting to play!!
I think it’s best if you use “step” to step through the execution. You can also click a cell to jump directly to it.
