An old mouse at the end of its life talks to Death

By choosing memories to relive, you build the mouse's story. Were they a seer? a warrior? an adventurer? a fool or a genius? a father or a mother?

A Storylet-based Game

Each memory you choose to relive is a small story, with its own choices, which will unlock others in turn. You can choose to go back and remember differently, opening new paths, some of which may require multiple play-throughs to unlock.

"the in the paw of god" section is incredible

Thank you! That was actually a late one, and speaks more directly to Death, which was something that I felt was more and more important as the writing process went on.

I’m curious if you (or anyone) has reached the “hidden” storyline around Te Ana Gori? It requires multiple playthroughs to reach.

I did not reach that! oh man

any hints for direction to go in?

Look for cards with the triangle symbol on the bottom right, and make sure to speak to the Seer

Making a meeting with death, truly feel like an old friend walking you down memory lane. Beautifully written, using its unique language fabricated by the brains of the dwellers of the in-between. An amazing collection of stories where secretly the reader holds a mirror in front of them, "What will you do and why?"

Your contributed memories being especially amazing … :)

Evocative and so polished. Play and play again. Choice-based storytelling at its best.

Thank you so much!

The rare 'post-choice' IF game, there is no success, no failure, just tiny rodent lives that unfold in the immaculate setting.

Everything about the experience is top-notch, each short story is a gem.

“post-choice”, I like that :D

As you probably noticed, the choice of paths controls the words Death uses to describe you.
